fall to-do list

Since I now live in New England, I figure I might as well embrace the seasons and spend time enjoying them while I am here. It really is gorgeous up here with the changing leaves. Yesterday I took Oliver for a walk around the neighborhood and it just smelled like fall. Wood-burning stove and all. Here are some of the things I would like to do this season.

1. go to a pick-your-own apple orchard {and maybe make an apple crisp!}
2. have some sparkling apple cider
3.  take a day trip to Litchfield, and do almost everything on this list
4. tackle some easy fall decorating. Perhaps something from here? {lets start by buying a pumpkin or two...}
5. speaking of pumpkins, are we too old to go to the pumpkin patch?
6. bake pumpkin banana bread {I will share the recipe if it turns out ok}
7. clean and polish boots
8. finally clean out all of the boxes from our extra bedroom {so embarrassing!}
9. have/attend a bonfire
10. go to a fall festival or fair

What's on your fall to-do list? I would love to hear!
